Carrier 3 HP Cool & Heat Optimax Pro Air Conditioner Functions

ECO Mode: The ECO mode reduces electricity consumption and noise levels. It automatically adjusts the temperature set via the wireless remote control, thus regulating the room temperature to match the body temperature during sleep, resulting in a healthy and comfortable night’s rest.

My Mode: This function allows you to save your preferred operating modes, such as your preferred operating system, temperature, or indoor unit fan speed.

Follow Me: When the Follow Me function is activated, the return air sensor in the indoor unit is disabled. The sensor on the wireless remote control detects the ambient temperature and sends a signal to the indoor unit, which then adjusts to the desired temperature.

Follow Me Defrost in Heating Mode: This function defrosts the outdoor unit’s heat exchanger while the heating cycle is running at low outside air temperatures.

Disable Indoor Unit LED Display: If you are sensitive to light when going to sleep, you can press the LED button to disable the indoor unit’s display and the sound that the indoor unit makes with each signal from the wireless remote control.

Automatic Restart: This function automatically restarts the air conditioner without changing its previously set operating modes and without using the wired remote control when the power is restored after at least three minutes of interruption.

Prevent Ice Buildup in Cooling Mode: This function prevents ice buildup on the indoor unit’s heat exchanger while the cooling cycle is running at low outside air temperatures or when the air filters are dirty. Preventing Cold Air Exit During Heating: This function prevents cold air from escaping during heating startup, ensuring a flow of warm air instead. When the heating process begins, the warm air is delayed from exiting the indoor unit, as the indoor unit’s fan automatically shuts off to prevent cold air from entering at the start of the heating cycle.

On Timer: This function can be used if you want to automatically turn on the air conditioner after a specified number of hours upon waking up or before returning home.

Off Timer: This function can be used if you want to automatically turn off the air conditioner after a specified number of hours, such as when going to sleep.

Self-Diagnosis: This self-diagnosis function detects faults. It automatically shuts off the air conditioner, and the fault code displayed on the indoor unit’s screen indicates the type of malfunction.
